IVP in Europe

As leading expert institute with 25 years of experience IVP is active in the field of psychotraumatology within the European Union. IVP is involved in (EU funded) projects concerning the psychosocial disaster management and care. In these projects (CIE Toolkit, TENTS, IPPHEC) we are collaborating with national and international organisations and institutes from the different EU countries such as the British Health Protection Agency, the Italian Ministry of Health and Kings College Londen.

IVP is actively involved with The European Society of Traumatic Stress Studies (ESTSS) as our CEO Ton de Wijs is member of the board as the treasurer.

The researchers of the IVP have a large network of researchers in the field psychotrauma all over Europe.
